On our trip to Arizona, we stayed at the Picacho / Tucson NW KOA. It was our first long camping trip in our new camping trailer.

The kids got to wear their matching camping PJs!

They got some time to play outside while we hooked everything up!

Even Rebekka had a great time! Although, she wanted to push every button inside the camper.

We enjoyed the pool at the campground. Part of it was shallow enough for both of my older kids to touch the bottom. I don’t have any pictures of us swimming, because I was swimming too! Here’s a picture of the pool area.

The playground was a big hit. We spent time there daily!

What a great trip! The staff was so friendly and helpful. And, the showers were the cleanest campground showers I’ve ever encountered! We can’t wait to visit the Picacho / Tucson NW KOA again!

  1. It really makes such a difference when the camping site is family friendly and clean. Look like your little ones had so much fun. My little boys love to wear matching pajamas, so cute!

  2. This place looks like a lot of fun. We love going camping. We go every year to a Yogi Bear campground in Fremont, Indiana. The kids love going, it’s a such a great time to bond as a family and do a lot of activities.
