We received these National Geographic Kids books for free as part of a Moms Meet blogger program, and I can’t wait to share them with you! We homeschool, so I like to have lots of educational books around the house for the kids to look at.

National Geographic Kids Almanac 2019

The Kids Almanac is an annual favorite at out house. My son loves learning new facts and this years book does not disappoint! It’s a great boredom buster to pull out on rainy day or in the car. I love that you can read just a small section when you have just a few minutes to spend. I will often read a section to my kids. Even my toddler enjoys listening and looking at the pictures, especially the animals.

And, it’s not just interesting for the kids. Every time we flip through this book, I know that I’m going to learn something new too!

Explorer Academy: The Nebula Secret

The Explorer Academy is a new seven-book fiction series, and The Nebula Secret is the first one published. It’s perfect for middle grade readers (ages 8-12), and kept the interest of my 9 year old.

I love that it touches on concepts from geography, history and world cultures. My son especially loved the code-breaking and puzzles. On the Explorer Academy website, you can even find a fun code-breaking game!
