This month for book club, we read The Piggy in the Puddle. It’s a fun rhyming book about a little pig who does not want to get out of a mud puddle. Her family tries to convince her to get out, but they don’t have any luck. So, they decide to join her instead. For our pig craft, we decided to paint some pigs getting muddy in a puddle! Read on for our Muddy Pigs Craft!

Muddy Pigs Craft

We used circular foam brushes and brown paint for the puddles. My daughter kept with the circles and stamped her puddle. My son used his more like a brush. Both of them created the puddle and let it dry.

Then we added the pigs with pink paint. My kids enjoyed putting their pigs in the mud!

They added a face and tail to each pig with our Chalkola Chalk Markers.

Didn’t these turn out cute?!

  1. Ah Those are soooo cute!! I love how they wrote the letters themselves. Making a mud puddle must have been a blast.
