Green Kids Crafty Fun Part 2: Bubbling Color Volcanoes

We signed up for Green Kid Crafts this month. This is a subscription program with fun, creative and earth-friendly craft projects, delivered each month! The box we received had 3 different crafts in it and this is my second post about our box. You can read my first post here.

The second craft we tried was the Bubbling Color Volcanoes. The kids thought this was so cool! The Green Kid Crafts kit included instructions, baking soda, color tablets, a dropper and some disposable cups. We used our own vinegar for the reaction.

We started by spreading a thin layer of baking soda on two dinner plates. The kids took turns making explosions on their plates until we had a huge puddle of color. They loved it!

I am a Green Kid Crafts affiliate, so if you make a purchase using my link, I receive a small commission.
