I recently received a free coupon for an Ore-Ida product in my Influenster Jingle VoxBox. I picked up some Ore-Ida Tater Tots at King Soopers, so I could put my own spin on a Totchos recipe. #OreIdaTotchos #contest
We use Ore-Ida potatoes pretty regularly around our house. I love their products, and I was excited to create a new recipe with their tots. I wanted to keep this recipe simple and somewhat healthy. So, I came up with California Totchos featuring some yummy veggies, bacon and Ore-Ida tater tots. I hope you enjoy this recipe!
Totcho Recipe Ingredients:
1 bag Ore-Ida Tater Tots
1 pound of bacon (precooked and crumbled)
1 batch of California sauce (see ingredient list below)
2 cups lettuce, chopped
2 roma tomatoes, diced
1 avocado, sliced
California sauce ingredients:
1 cup Kraft light Miracle Whip
1/2 tsp lime juice
1 avocado, mashed
1 tsp basil
2 tbsp olive oil
Preheat oven to 425. Cook the Tater Tots according to the package directions.
While the tater tots are cooking, combine all ingredients for California sauce in a bowl and mix well.
Layer the totcho ingredients in a large bowl or serving dish starting with the tater tots. Then add bacon, California sauce, lettuce, tomato and avocado.
Also, check on my YouTube video on putting together the dish.
This meal is gluten free and dairy free.
My family loved this dish!
