While on our trip to Arizona, we spent a few hours at the Arizona Science Center. There was a lot to do, and we could easily have spent more time there! I loved that everything was pretty baby friendly. I didn’t find myself constantly saying “don’t touch that” or needing to redirect my one year old.
They had an outdoor interactive water exhibit that was a real hit with all of my kids. Plastic balls could be launched and moved around to different areas. There were drums and bells that could be played with water.
In the All About Me human body area, there were lots of cool experiences. My son loved the wheelchair races. There was a drum that matched your heartbeat. My older kids loved being digested and sliding out of this stomach (complete with sound effects!). That was definitely the favorite of the day!
My son was brave enough to try the bed of nails in the Get Charged Up area.
My youngest really enjoyed playing with balls and blowing air.
Another favorite was their Forces of Nature weather area, where you could experience the wind and rain of different severe weather. I didn’t have my camera out for that one! But it was really neat.
The kids enjoyed making and testing paper airplanes in the American Airlines Flight Zone.
We had a lot of fun and would definitely visit the Arizona Science Center again if we were in the area!
