I’m really excited for Amazon Prime Day this year. Due to COVID-19, I haven’t been out shopping as much as usual, and I’m WAY behind on my holiday shopping. By October, I’m usually about halfway done shopping, but not this year. So, I have a lot of catching up to do. After all, the holidays are just over two months away!

My Tips for Prime Day
I’m planning to do most of my holiday shopping online this year. Since we pay for Amazon Prime, shopping on Amazon is quick and helps me avoid shipping charges. I can’t wait for the great deals during the Amazon Prime Day sale, which is October 13 and 14 this year.
I’ve already created Amazon wish lists for each of my kids. I can watch the pricing on those items more easily on the wish list, and I can also share them with any family or friends who may be looking for gift ideas.
Once Prime Day starts, I like to keep a close eye on the Amazon deals page for lightning deals that may sell out quickly! Prime members sometimes get early access to these.
I’ll also be trying the deal alert feature in the app. It’s new this year, and I’m hoping it will help me get the specific items I want.
Finding the best Amazon Prime Day Deals is easy by using the deal tracking website Slickdeals. I really like that Slickdeals will showcase some of the best deals on their Frontpage deals area. I find so many great gift ideas there! I can also use the search function if I’m looking for a particular brand or even a specific item.
There are plenty of coupons available for Amazon Prime Day. There may even be coupons available directly from the seller that can add to Amazon’s deal price. I always check for available coupons before checking out.
