There’s lots to do in Colorado Springs on a rainy day! Just take the fun indoors! Here are a few of my suggestions:

1. Little Monkey Bizness
A large indoor facility where kids can run, bounce and slide! They have a bounce house, a large play structure and a separate area for younger children. There’s coffee available for purchase, too!

2. PPLD
Enjoy the children’s area at one of the Pike’s Peak Library District branches. Curl up and read a good book or play some computer games. Many branches offer programs for children or story times as well. The largest children’s area can be found at East, Penrose and 21c.

3. Café 225
Hidden away in the basement of this coffee shop is a cute but small children’s play area.

4. Poor Richards
Grab a slice of pizza or a salad and let the kids play. In the back of the restaurant, there is a small castle to play on along with a few toys. Little Richard’s Toy Store is attached to the restaurant.

5. Chick-Fil-A
The Chick-Fil-A restaurants at North Academy, Carefree, and Garden of the Gods all have small play areas. They also offer Kids Clubs and Playdates with the Cow on select days.

6. Space Foundation Discovery Center
Go have some fun learning about space. The brand new exhibit in conjunction with Pikes Peak Children’s Museum featuring Clifford the Dog is sure to be a hit with younger kids!

Have you been to any of these places? Where do you like to go on rainy days?
