This year for the holidays, I’ll be making 12 Handprint and Footprint crafts that follow the 12 Days of Christmas theme. This first post has our first three creations. You can find the rest of the Twelve Days of Christmas Handprints and Footprints by following the links at the end of the post.

The First Day of Christmas – Partridge in a Pear Tree

Use a foot print in brown for the tree trunk. Use green handprints for the branches.

The Second Day of Christmas – Two Turtle Doves

Use footprints in a V shape for the birds using gray or brown. Keep the heels near the edge of the paper.

The Third Day of Christmas – Three French Hens

Use three handprints in a light brown or orange. Make sure the thumbs are facing the same direction. My example is one hand from each of my children, but you could repeat with the same hand.
